bodyADVANCE is the ultimate tool to keep you motivated and on track with Body for LIFE. When combined with bodyADVANCE Desktop this is the easiest to use, most effective fitness system available. Extensive online help is available while using the application by taping the silk screen menu icon. The latest Palm OS PDAs can take advantage of full color hi-res or grey scale easy to recognize icons and screen layouts. Windows users and Mac users with Virtual PC can use the conduit application bodyADVANCE Desktop (separate registration required) to edit  bodyADVANCE Palm data on their Desktop computers between Hotsyncs.

The components are divided into the following sections:

VISUALIZE:

Picture the goals that you are determined to achieve and write them down. To keep you focused the program will remind you each time you start it. Modify or change your goals at any time. ACTIVATE:
    Plan and record the exercises that will rev up your metabolic rate and allow you to lose fat and increase strength. Plan your weights, reps and intensity and use the timer for your rest interval. For aerobic activities you can record interval, heart rate and SDM data. Easily go to your next activity day to increase your weights or plan a different routine.
ENERGIZE:
    Increase your bodies recovery from exercise exertion by fueling up with healthy nutrition. Plan your meal and supplement intake. Use stretching routines to maximize muscle recovery by increasing blood flow and promoting balanced muscle growth. Sleep is one of the most over looked and under used muscle growth aids. Make getting enough sleep a priority.
QUANTIFY
    Track your progress, take measurements and calculate your body fat. You will be suprised how quickly you see results.
MOTIVATE
    Check the tip of the day for ideas and inspiration. Review the exercises for pointers and proper technique.
CUSTOMIZE
    Add extra workout days, modify your schedule, customize the exercises, meals and supplements to your own needs. Create customized quick access lists for different meal times from a preloaded master list of over 100 meals and supplements or add your own to either list. Make customized quick access lists for each muscle group from a preloaded master list of over 100 exercises or add your own to either list. Create meals from the 6000 or 1000 item food databases. If you find the BFL routines too restrictive try beyondBFL for complete flexibility and customization of your routines.
bodyADVANCE Desktop (separate registration required) adds many features not available within the Palm OS environment. Use the New Cycle button to create a cycle customized to your needs or use the predefined 'Body for LIFE' or 'reverse BFL'. Make more complicated body fat calculations. Print out any of your data, recipie, supplement or exercise information. Create a meal plan with randomly choosen meals from the favourites on your quick access list. Use the built-in web browser to download authorized meals or research supplements. Use the powerful copy command to copy some or all aspects of a training day to another.
